Johnathan F. Austin, Esq. Founder

 

Attorney Austin’s practice focuses on personal injury and mass tort litigation as well as legal consulting for businesses, governmental entities, and non-profit organizations.

 

Education

Johnathan earned his Juris Doctor from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. During his time at Cumberland, he spent a semester abroad studying International Law and Business Transactions at India’s NALSAR University School of Law in Hyderabad, Telangana. Johnathan earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Miles College.

 

Public Service
Johnathan represented District 5 on the Birmingham City Council for almost 10 years, and served two terms as the Birmingham City Council President. While on the Council, Johnathan championed justice initiatives for underserved communities.

 

Experience
Johnathan brings more than two decades of experience as a business owner and entrepreneur. He is a former Executive Director at the Center for Urban Missions, Chief Executive Officer at New City Center, former owner of RAMP Industries, and current CEO of Fitz, LLC, a management consulting firm.

 

Prior to forming Austin Law, P.C., Johnathan worked with one of the city’s premier personal injury litigation firms where he also consulted on matters involving public agencies.
